What is Jog-A-Thon?

The Jog-A-Thon is an annual fundraising event put on by each Zionsville Elementary school. This event was created to reduce the number of fundraisers needed to support our students and school staff throughout the year. It is the only fundraiser where we ask students to directly participate and one of only TWO fundraising events throughout the year.

The Jog-A-Thon takes place on the trail in the back of Eagle Elementary, and students will be given time to jog (or walk) as many laps as they can. All students, grades PreK-4, will participate throughout the day at different times. They will be provided a Jog-A-Thon t-shirt to wear that day and given popsicles to celebrate!

Running Times   

Preschool: 10:35am - 10:50am

Kindergarten: 11:40am - 12:30pm

1st/2nd: 1:10pm - 2:10pm

3rd/4th: 10:10am -11:25am

Spectators

You are welcome to join us to cheer on your favorite runner! Bring signs and yell loud in the designated cheering section in the back parking lot of the school. Please make your way AROUND the OUTSIDE of the school to find the designated cheering area!

Fundraising

All students can participate in Jog-A-Thon by fundraising before the event. There are two ways to collect donations:

  1. Cash or check, turned in to their teacher. Each student will bring home a printed envelope to bring back to school with cash and/or check donations. Checks should be made out to Eagle Elementary PTO. 

  2. Digital Donations via Venmo or PayPal. All donations are due by Friday, October 11th, 2024.
